Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Achieves financial target through sales and marketing activities.
• Prepares and delivers technical presentation to clients and partners in a way that is easily understandable;
• Keeps clients informed about trends and new technologies;
• Works closely with MDS Business Solutions Team for the solution design and bill of materials;
• Prepares Proposal and Selling Price within the set approved margin range;
• May be required to do Solution Engineer tasks as necessary:
• Conducts site visits and technical assessment to provide effective and efficient solution design and bill of materials to achieve a higher chance of closing the project
• Establishes the technical needs of the client and suggesting appropriate display solutions
• Design Solution and Prepares technical diagrams and bills of materials and services to cater client's requirements
• Calculates Project Solution Costing and conducts cost analysis
• Coordinates with Various Suppliers to identify the appropriate solution with cost computation
• Works closely with the MDS Operations Team for complex system design and project
implementation planning
• Works closely with the Project Compliance Team for structural and electrical requirements- Provides mock-ups in coordination with Creatives
• Prepares, Set Up and conduct product demonstration
2. Coordinates with Marketing team to ensure marketing strategies are planned and implemented in accordance with the direction of the business unit.
• Diligently builds a pipeline of leads across industries through cold calls and referrals;
• Actively seeks for referrals from existing clients or connections;
• Research and gathers enough data to know and understand the client’s needs to help create a winning pitch and proposal;
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, services and new services;
• Recommends changes in our roster or services based on market intelligence and competitive developments;
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies;
• Assist in forecasting revenue, developing and sustaining a business plan to exceed the digital sales budget
3. Ensures timely billing and collections of closed contracts in coordination with Finance.
• Works Closely with Operations Team to ensure all awarded projects are implemented well;
• Ensure proper documentation is completed to ensure timely billing and collections;
4. Establish good relationship and good working coordination with Sales Team.
• Monitors sales development and awarded projects;
• Conducts periodic meeting with assigned sales team;
• Keeps sales team well informed with designed solutions and upcoming trends;
5. Be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers.
• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors;
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives;
• Liaise and communicate clearly the implementation and progress of projects initiatives to internal and external stakeholders;
• Forecast and track key account metrics
6. Performs administrative tasks such as:
• Reimbursement and liquidation of expenses;
• Preparation and facilitation of Turnover Documents;
• Compilation of proposal and reports related to clients, solution designs, and sales accounts;
• Preparation and submission of reports on Account Pipeline, itinerary, call sheet reports, and account information sheets as scheduled and as required by the respective departments;
• Prepares, monitors and safe keeps reports needed by the client and a copy for the department;
• Maintain an organize and accurate documentation systems in accordance to the company’s standard procedures and process.
7. To perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Educational Background and Work Experience:
1. Bachelor's Degree in any of the following:
a. Electronics and Communications Engineering; or
b. Any related Engineering course;
2. At least 1-2 years experience in sales (preferrably in technical sales).
3. Knowledge in the following is a major plus:
• Designing solutions
• Creating diagrams
• Sourcing materials and cost / budget computation
• Adobe Photoshop, AutoCad, Sketch Up

• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.
3. Project management Skills and Deadline-oriented.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
• Ability to work in high pressure deadline driven environment.
4. Critical thinking and Problem Solving skills.
5. Proficient in Excel, Powerpoint, Canva and Word.
