Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Full Stack Development: Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins to meet project specifications. Back-End Development: Implement server-side logic, database design, and efficient data handling to support robust WordPress applications.
2. Front-End Development: Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js.
3. API Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to connect WordPress with external services and platforms.
4. Performance Optimization: Ensure websites are fast, secure, and optimized for SEO and performance. Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code that follows industry best practices and company standards.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure seamless project execution.
6. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, providing post-launch support as needed.
7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development processes and implement new solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
2. Customize existing themes and plugins to enhance functionality and meet project objectives.
3. Collaborate with design and UX/UI teams to implement website features and enhancements.
4. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
5. Implement security and data protection measures in WordPress websites.
6. Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoot any issues.
7. Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
8. Manage project timelines and communicate progress to stakeholders.
9. Assisting the project team with all aspects of website development specifically in content publishing and updates to high-volume corporate websites.
10. Assisting with running the test suite then reviewing and resolving reported errors
11. Converting video, written, and graphic components into compatible formats for the web.

Educational Background and Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development, including both front-end and back-end.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality WordPress projects.
• Project Management: Experience managing web development projects, from concept to completion.
• Custom Web Applications: Developing custom web applications on top of the WordPress platform.
• Client Interaction: Direct interaction with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and offer technical support.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Key Competencies and Skills Needed:

1. Proficient in PHP, MySQL, and WordPress core functionalities.
2. Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
3. Experience with WordPress theme development using frameworks like Genesis, Divi, or custom themes.
4. Expertise in plugin development and customization.
5. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
6. Understanding of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
7. Experience with web performance optimization techniques.
8. Knowledge of SEO best practices and implementation.
9. Competence in deployment on cloud environments (i.e. AWS)

Project Development Details:

1. Maximum of three (3) months project timeline inclusive of planning, designing, development, testing, user acceptance, and deployment, and go-live.
2. Revisions, bug fixes, and modifications shall form part of the deliverables until client signs off on User Acceptance Agreement
3. The developer is expected to report to the office at least three (3) times a week on workdays.

1. Fully-functional WordPress website according to approved design, features, functionalities, applicable third-party integrations and plugins, and specs.
2. Fully-functional and non-developer user-friendly Content Management System
3. Deployment to client-nominated server
4. Troubleshooting and bug fixing during testing phase, user-acceptance testing, and go-live
5. Website and CMS Development documentation
6. Website and CMS code and content files
7. CMS user manual

Pay: Php46,000.00 - Php60,000.00 per month
